Nothing exciting

So the other day they announced on the annoucements that there will be a compitition between the sixth periods to see who can collect the most pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald house; which ever class wins, gets a pizza party the day after they collect the tabs.

I have choir sixth...there are 78 of us, yes that's right, SEVEN EIGHT, Mr. Corey called the Key Club people and told them that the cup that brought us wasn't going to be big enough. They couldn't find anything bigger, so Corey found some little tub things that he had (kinda like the ones the Mayo comes in at work)...we filled three of them...TODAY.

And he's still worried about us losing. Course he just wants the Key Club to put their money where their mouth is.

That's a lot of pizza.

I've discovered that Darcey, the girl that sits next to me in Modern World Issues is a new foreign exchange student from Australia, which explains the amazing accent she has...when she talks that is.

I am such a sucker for accents its not even funny.

I changed my schedule three times in two days last week, but it wasn't my fault! I wanted back in the English class i had last semester and out of the weird computer one that was exactly like a class I took in seventh grade - same book and everything - so I switched to study hall, the only other class that would work. Half way through study hall, me algebra teacher from freshman year came in looking for a peer tutor/ teacher's aide to help her with her first semester geometry kids (the ones that failed the first time around) and guess who got volunteered?

Its easy to see why they failed, we have yet to have the entire class present at once...there's twelve of them. We had ten today, that's pretty good!

Class rings come in tomorrow...FINALLY, they're only three months late. Yayz!

Um...I don't work until thursday, payday. I have yet to not work a payday, but that's okay, it saves me a trip.

I think that's about it....

Oh and we got snow again...nothing like Colorado saw in '06, but still....lots compared to our average.

and they keep talking about global warming...we haven't had snow in December or January in years...

lol

(no subject)

Amanda, Madison and Ryan returned home from Dad's yesterday. It seems like they had fun and he didn't make them clean out the garage or trim the hedges like he usually does. I didn't go, Dad and I don't really get along - haven't since he made me move in with Mom after he proposed to Kristi. Besides, I had to work - I love built in excuses.

Mema (Dad's mom), skrewed up and sent our Christmas presents to Dad's. She sent us a Wii - I'm just amazed she could find one, she lives in California. They must be even rarer there then they are here. Mom's decided that this means that she can get a Wii Fit and get in shape...assuming she can find one that is. :P

I'm not so sure that I like it - you actually have to move. LOL. Besides, Playstation not only has way better graphics, but you can play Blu-rays on it. Apparently nobody clued Mema in. Oh well, it might be fun I suppose - once I learn how to do something other than bowl...but I don't really wanna try - like the flair on facebook says "You know you're out of shape when you get sore playing the Wii." And yes, I'm sore - very.

Last night, because I had been averaging 10 - 12 hours asleep every night throughout the break (proving just how lazy I really am), it took me until 3am to fall asleep. That's nothing new, not really, it happens everycouple of weeks - usually on Sunday nights. I know I set my alarm clock - it just didn't go off. Mom woke me up at seven, yelling at me because I missed the bus. I'm not entirely sure that she believes me when I say it just didn't go off, but I know I set it. Besides, I've NEVER slept through the alarm before - the music's to loud.

Oh well.

And school today? Absolutely sucked. At least Algebra 3 went back to reviewing stuff I remember from last year, and we didn't do anything in choir. Biology 2 was awful - why did I take science again any way? Oh yeah - Mr. Larson. Awsome teacher, and frankly we got away with so much in his class its not even funny. Not to mention that he's like 34, blond and kinda looks like a surfer. LOL. Not that Mr. Bartsch is BAD or really old or anything - he's just bald - and makes us do work...hard work. Accounting 3 was accounting 3 - the group of people I sit with and I are so far ahead we're technically 3 to 5 weeks into accounting 4 - so we naturally didn't even open our books. While I did, but not the accounting one. : P English was - gah. Oedipus is bad enough, but having to come back to it after more than 3 weeks, since we did our book reports the last week or so of classes? Government? Flohr's awsome, but I'm starting to get sick of mock congress.

The good news is I don't have to work until Wednesday! Looks like I'm working on my Science project tomorrow.

Bleh.
